Almost 10,000 votes cast in first ever parallel Senedd election for young people aged 11-15
- Votes received from 36 of 40 constituencies, meaning the parallel Senedd has 56 seats in total
- More than 1 in 20 young people in Wales aged 11-15 took part
- Plaid Cymru is the largest party with 19 seats; Labour second with 17
- Overall, 7 parties gained seats in the parallel election, including 3 parties who have not previously held seats in the Senedd
- 59% of young people completing a survey after taking part said they now were more likely to vote in the Senedd election when they’re old enough
