We recommend you use the website Who Can I Vote For to show you who is standing in your area.
Manifestos
In local elections, some parties publish local manifestos, specific to local council areas.
To find these, try googling the name of your local council (e.g. Wrexham) and the name of the party. If they have an area-specific website or area-specific facebook page you should find it this way.
But if you’re struggling to find information, some parties also publish manifestos that cover the whole of Wales.
The parties who are standing in every local council area in Wales are the Conservatives, the Green Party, Labour, the Liberal Democrats and Plaid Cymru.
When/if these parties publish national manifestos, we’ll put a link to them on this page.
